Morning of Departure

Good Early Morning.

Today is the day! We leave in just a few hours to start our journey.
I failed in getting pictures, but wanted to introduce our team.

Dr Dave Klink.
-Dr Klink is our team leader and one of our "second timers". He serves our country as a Navy physician and practices Neuro-Ophthalmology and Pediatric Ophthalmology. Last year God used Dave to treat a large number of children with Vernal conjunctivitis. With the proper medicine the children's eyesight has been preserved.

Darlene Gentry.
-Darlene did not attend the trip last year but played a key role. She planned our trip from start to finish, it would not have come together without her very hard work.
We are so excited to have her along with us this year. To see first hand what all her hard work was for. Darlene will be apart of the children's and adult ministry while in country.

Dr Leon Cerniway.
-We are very excited about Dr Cerniway joining our team. He is a Dentist and oh how we need a dentist. He will be using his skills to treat hundreds of men, women, and children. With hundreds of toothbrushes in our suitcases, oral hygiene will big a priority during this trip.

Christy Hays.
-Another loved dental professional. Christy will be joining Dr Cerniway this year as a dental hygienist. Christy's husband Frank joined our team last year and we are so happy she gets the chance to see what all the fuss was about :)

Priscilla Thompson.
-Priscilla is another second timer. Last year she served as triage, and she will again this year. She also took on the roll of logistic coordination. She has spent many hours preparing our trip. Such a valuable member of our team.

Rodney Tatum.
-Rodney is joining us this year in our pharmacy. He will be a key player in our clinics. Getting everyone the proper medicine. He will also have fun learning to say "take one every day (or every other day)" in sesotho! We can't wait for Rodney to experience God's amazing work in Lesotho.

Kyle Totty.
-Kyle is a seasoned Lesotho Veteran. Spending several months servings as a Hands On missionary with the Floras, we will be drawing on his insight and knowledge of the Basotho people. This year Kyle will be telling The Story once again in the Maluti mountains. Sharing the Gospel with all who attend the clinics.

Kim Burbank.
-Soon to be Mrs. Kyle Totty will be joining us as well and we are so very excited. She has prayed for the Basotho and now she gets to go love on the Basotho. She will be sharing her love for Christ with the women and children. She will also be apart of a young women's ministry while in Lesotho, Sharing with these young moms and daughters their true worth in Christ.

Arianna Witte.
-That's me! I am blessed to have to opportunity to return to Lesotho for a second time this year. Last year I served as children's ministry and this year I am excited to again, as well as teach mothers infant CPR and Choking Relief. I will be joining Kim in the young women's ministry. Sharing what Christ has done in my life with the women of the Maluti Mountains.

Mallory Williams.
-Last year God called Mallory to Lesotho and we are so happy He is bringing her back this year. Mallory is a Cardiac nurse in Missouri. She will be "adult med" while in the clinics.

Nancy Branson.
-Mrs Branson holds a special place in the Floras' heart. As the mother of their Daughter in law, Nancy gets to share children and grandchildren with the Floras. Nancy has been a nurse for 28 years in Missouri and brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the clinics. She was part of our team last year and she brings such a joy to our group.

Kara Yohn.
-Kara is also a nurse from Missouri. She will be joining our team this year and will sure to get the full Medical Mission experience working in our clinics.
We are excited to see what God has in store for her.

It is amazing to see how God brought our team together. All from different backgrounds, for the same purpose.
